Calorie Count rocks!

Helpful and positive. Healthy and real. Useful.

Too limited, inconsistent & buggy

This app is too limited. When you enter a new custom food or scan a barcode & enter all the nutrition info, it doesnt remember it for the future! So you have to re-enter the same item every time! When trying to create a new custom exercise it wont let you, says it needs a duration but doesnt give a spot for a duration. Ugh.

Helpful

This app I falling hard. Used to be so reliable. Crashes constantly on my tablet. Wont recognize my sign in on iPhone. Inputting new foods is a pain in my Galaxy S5. What happened. Guess they dont care anymore.

Eh...

The only reason I use this app is because Ive been using the calorie count website since 2008. Its got a great database (the website) but the app is lacking. Its full of bugs, crashes when you try to enter a custom item, and the food database has so much less to choose from than the website. I find myself having to get on through Safari to find items Id like to log and just do it that way. Sometimes I wonder why I bother using this app at all....

Horrible waste of time!

I just spent half an hour trying to log into this app with no luck. I tried changing my password and it still said my password was incorrect. I did everything I could think of?and it still would not let me log in. This app is a piece of crap!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

Easy to use!

This app definitely has some issues but its easy to use and encouraging!

Nice app

Better than weight watchers for tracking food and activity

Unusable

Crashes every time Ive tried to open it.

App subpar

This app is subpar to their website. No way to create recipes in the app, recipes created on website dont sync. I like the website but the app is not good enough so Im forced to use my fitness pal, whose website isnt my fav. I wish the creators of this app would sync with the website and make it easy to create recipes on the app.

Horrible on iPad....doesnt know which way is up

Wow the interface is horrible..it kept flipping the text as though I had turned my iPad over ....but I hadnt....also cant figure out how to delete an inCorrect entry....deleting app...sticking to web based interface....

Very basic app; needs work

It logs food and activity, as intended, and provides interesting analyses, but it has severe glitches. Most important to me is that it doesnt sync with your mobile/desktop accounts. And since the app doesnt let you create recipes, you need to go to the website for certain things. Not to mention that even if you create a recipe on the website, you will never find it in the app. Frustrating. I also cant log in to the website from my phone because apparently, my user name is too long. Yet, it works on the website when I log in from a desktop computer. Basically, it needs work.

Great App!

I was looking for something to track my calories and was compatible with my older version Iphone. This app has exceeded my expectations. Tracks food, activity , gives you an analysis & has a social media aspect ( optional ). Highly Recommended!

Simple as pie

Can’t figure out why the *other* calorie tracker is so much more popular, since I tried it and this one just works better. There are definitely issues, my main complaint being that it doesn’t favor “recent” or “favorite” items when you choose a meal. The website is much, much better for this, but this app does the job when you’re on the go, and the analysis helps keep you focused. You just might have to do more typing and searching than you should have to. Hopefully this will improve, but for now, I’m very happy with this little tool.

So behind on the times.

Ive been using Calorie Count for years. Unfortunately, in all this time, the makers have not done enough to improve design and usability of the app. There are also lots of bugs making it a very unreliable app - not what you want in a daily tracker! The good things about it are that it offers forums (although most people there ask idiotic questions) and the selection of foods is pretty big. Im finally jumping ship though and trying newer, better apps!

Satisfactory

The interface is super nifty and the searchable database of foods and portions and activities are pretty comprehensive, but the app has so minor bugs that can be inconvenient. Overall, its pretty much my preferred app to use out of all the rest on the Store.

App doesnt work

I loved this app before until it stopped working. I have reach out to technical support but got no answer. I didnt use it for month and I forgot log in name. There was no way to contact technical support to reset. I logged in through Facebook but it didnt work. Created new log in id and app didnt work. I was logging food but it was not saving. Look like I didnt eat all day.

Does not work with Apple Health

I agree with most of the other bad reviews about bugs & customize meals. But what I would really like to see is for this app be able to sync & work with the Apple Health app & dashboard. I am able to look at everything I record, HR, exercise, sleep patterns, & many others. I just wish I could see my calories consumed in calories burned in the same dashboard.

Great app, not so great issues

I really like this app...mostly. I love how food has ratings and that you can look at a break down of your nutrition. The tracking is decent too. I just cant stand all of the bugs and crashing. It is almost impossible to enter in the details of a new food without freezing/the screen going blank. Also, sometimes the calorie counts dont match what I see on my package, but there is no way to edit/request a change. So the only option is to create a new food...which as I said above, hardly works. I also wish there was a way to type in your water amount in oz. or change the default oz amount. I drink out of a 20oz tumbler, but the increments are in 8 oz. Overall, the app has potential, but I may get too frustrated with the bugs to stick around and see it.

Good calorie count

I have benefited from the service Analysis food This bro better then from fitness pal

Iffy

This app has had the same problems for years - a ton of bugs/crashes and an inability to input data on nutrients when adding foods. Youd think something backed by a large website could get their stuff together but problems have been left unfixed longer than Ive ever seen similar on other apps by a wide margin.
