The app is easy to use and syncs with the online account. Would be even better if it could be linked to an excercise app to import calories burned.

The best

I love this website, and the app is good too. Some of the nutrition analysis (like they write in the details) is not viewable on the app. With both of those together, this is an incredible health tool. My favorite thing is the grading system and the nutrition analysis. It motivates me to make healthier choices just to get a higher grade and to try and get good feedback on my nutrient intake. Its not just for weight loss. This can help anybody who wants to make sure thet are getting the proper nutrition levels. Its the best. I love it.

Been Using This Forever

Ive tried many apps before this is the most pro in my opinion. I dont usually leave reviews but for this app I have to! Its seriously the best if youre serious about losing weight.

What happened?

I can not completely add foods manually w/nutrients and minerals anymore. Sending an email about issue comes back with delivery failure. It was a great app!!!! People please fix.

Best calorie app

All the other calorie apps wouldnt let me change my goal/didnt like my age. They would set goals that were too low that I couldnt change. Now I can change it to a goal thats right for me! Its very nice and I love the format and other users!!

Expected more

The app is not what I expected.It doesnt work properly and constant glitches are annoying.If you need a good calorie counter find something else.

I really like the ease of use with this app, and that I can just log a calorie number very quickly without having to scroll through fool lists like other apps. However, there are so many issues! I create foods, put in the calorie count, and every time it registers as zero. I then try to edit it, and there is no obvious way to do so. I have repeatedly emailed the "report a problem," and the emails always bounce back. So frustrated!

No confidence

There are far too many of the same exact foods listed of the same amount, with different calories listed. Special K Red Berries has 4 listed ranging from 110 to 250. None of them most milk used, which logically means milk should be added separately. For mass manufactured food such as cereal, it is not difficult to realize this app is barely useful. I compared three other cereals the same way.

Cant access major things on the app.

In general I like the website, and how it focuses less on calories and more on the health value of what youre eating. But Ive yet to figure out a way to access your recipes from the app, which is very frustrating. Also hard to switch items from breakfast to lunch, etc. App is very time consuming and not fully functional compared to the website.

Good for getting the basic facts.

Overall this is a really great app for tracking basic nutrition information. This is especially useful for people who arent very knowledgable about nutrition or need a reality check on what they are eating. This isnt as detailed as I would like it. I think some of the targets and the grading system are questionable. I would prefer if those were more easily customizable. Pros: Very useful for tracking basic nutrition facts and weight. Cons: 1. Considers some processed foods healthy. 2. Cant create recipes from the app (you can on the website). 3. Doesnt track all micronutrients.

Its OK

Use it to track exercises, but not convenient. The way exercise names are only partially displayed makes it hard to pick the right one. Editing not convenient. Not happy that it has not been updated to work with the Apple Health App in iOS8. I want to enter my weight once in Calorie Count and have it port over. Nike Running (I walk, NOT run) does this very well with activity.
