Better than the web version!

HAD TO DELETE AND REINSTALL APP FOR THE TENTH TIME. Fix your app. Ive used CC and it helps a lot for weight loss. However, this app CONSISTENTLY FAILS TO LOAD and I uninstall/reinstall frequently. Fix your app.

Help

I downloaded the app but cannot sign in or log on. Please help. It refuses my email and my password.

Terrible app!!

This app was fine the first few months I had it (I had originally downloaded it in July), but around October-November it started glitching! I couldnt log my weight in for over a month! Then, if I tried to adjust ANYTHING on the preferences inside of the app, it would crash. Now, I cant add foods or activities! Im sick of this app! Every update since October has been nothing but trouble for me! While I love the whole idea of community and having a support group, how am I supposed to get these benefits when the app isnt working properly? Please fix this!

Easy peasy!

Love being able to log my food and look thugs up even when on the go!

Great app

Use the desktop version first to the to know the true calorie count in items. Also, the lack of an "other" category on the actual app is disappointing and I have to log on the desktop anyway to log my vitamins etc. It is also hard to look up custom items and you cannot create recipes on the mobile app. Otherwise I love the full site and this app helps me keep track of my calories in and out on the go. Ive lost 25 lbs.

Cant enter nutritional info or vitamins & minerals on custom food info!! Other that that its a good app

Beautiful Interfaces, Horrible Bugs

Im invested in this app by years since I cant port out the info, but this app drives me effing nuts. The positive are the charts and nutrition tracking. Exercise database is thorough and pretty spot-on. Guidelines for different diets are a great starting point. Love the food grades and the meal by meal carb/fat/protein summaries. But the cons are the constant crashes and freezing, delays, inability to sync with online records, and duplicates in custom foods and meals. I tried cleaning out my custom (it creates a new entry every time you log it!) list online, but that doesnt sync. Weight takes forever to log, it crashes when you try to complete your day. The database has a lot of duplicates so its hard to pick out the right serving and product. Fiber and sugar are missing from a lot of entries. The bugs are constant and if I hadnt been tracking on it this long, Id have tried something new. Takes forever to search, and kills your battery. Its such a well-designed interface that its such a shame that the tech is so poor.

Cant Add Custom Food

I have liked this app for a while and used it along with their site for years. However, I have recently noticed an annoying glitch. When you go to create a new custom food you have the option to add nutritional information, which I find highly valuable when analyzing my diet summary. Anyway, when you click to enter that menu, you see all the boxes to fill in. But, once you click a box to enter a numerical value, the entire screen goes blank and you have no choice but to back out. I am disappointed I cant add vitamin info.

Not so great

There are much better apps out there for weight-loss tracking and planning. The UI is clumsy and challenging to use. But the worst, most egregious problem with the app involves the account settings. Weight-loss planning and required calories are unrealistic. There are serious logistical issues with the calories that are recommended for you and unrealistic corresponding weight-loss target dates. You will set yourself up for failure if you allow the account settings on this app determine the goal date for your weight-loss. Also, the recommended calories do not seem accurate either, regardless of how much weight you want to lose and in what time frame. If you insist on using the app, determine your BMR and calculate accordingly for the amount of weight you can lose at most in one week. Then manually calculate the number of weeks that would be required to lose that weight, adding 10% of the number of days, realizing that weight loss is not linear.

Ever since I signed up with this program I have been getting non-stop junk mail from health websites. I am severely disappointed with this application.

Its OK

To be fair, I have been a member of MyPlate for ages. Im accustomed to that interface, and prefer it. While this app has a nice social network/peer support feature in the "Calorie Camp," I dont need that. I downloaded the app after many frustrating page loading issues in the websites recipe calculator. I was hoping that the app had a more reliable way to calculate recipes. It doesnt have anything better than MyPlate in this regard, so Im deleting the app for now.

Eye opening!

I never realize how much I eat in a day until I got this app! It has helped me alot, I never knew how much calories I eat in a day! This really helps me I love it!

Used to love it!

I used to love it, love it, love it! I really enjoyed being able to record my food and menus and track my weight. But now it crashes every time I try to open it. Do I delete it and try to install it again? Then I will lose all of my history and settings! Please fix this.

Best calorie app in the App Store

This app has so many awesome features, has way more foods in its data base, and the community of people is amazing. This is one of my go to apps on my iPhone.

Not worth the Effort!

I gave it one star only because its free, but hardly anything works on this app. You cant scan items or add custom items and it crashes every time you try to enter your weight. It has some nice features if they only worked

Handy...when it actually works

The concept of the app is wonderful, but often the app either doesnt sync with what Ive entered on my computer. Or, my values disappear and everything goes back to zero as if I hadnt entered any foods/activities for the day. When it actually works, its great. Unfortunately it only works about 60% of the time I use it.

Easy to use no problems

This app works great for doing what its supposed to do. The UPC scan is great. I have no problems using it to track my progress.
